Coming in at No. 14 on the national list, Antelope Canyon remains one of the most iconic natural landmarks in the Southwest. Known for its flowing sandstone walls and incredible light beams, the canyon has become one of the most photographed destinations in the country.

Located near Page, Arizona, this slot canyon attracts travelers from around the world who come to experience its unique colors, textures, and constantly changing light patterns. With more than 246,000 U.S. searches over the past year and a strong Yelp rating, it continues to be one of Arizona’s most recognizable bucket list experiences.

For many visitors, Antelope Canyon feels almost unreal in person — and it’s easy to see why it consistently lands on national travel lists.

Havasu Falls

Sharing the same ranking spot is Havasu Falls, one of Arizona’s most breathtaking hidden gems.

Located within the Havasupai tribal lands near the Grand Canyon, Havasu Falls is famous for its vivid turquoise water surrounded by red canyon walls. Unlike Antelope Canyon, Havasu Falls remains far less visited, which is part of what makes it so special.

The study noted that lower search volume actually helped destinations rank as “hidden gems,” giving Havasu Falls additional appeal as a more secluded bucket list adventure.

Reaching the falls requires advance planning and a hike into the canyon, but for many travelers, the experience is well worth it. The contrast between the desert landscape and the bright blue water creates one of the most unforgettable scenes in Arizona.
