The Henry Opens Second Location in Uptown Plaza

Levine Investments Limited Partnership announced a new cornerstone project will soon break ground at Uptown Plaza. Located on the most iconic northeast corner of Central Avenue and Camelback Road, The Henry, a Fox Restaurant Concepts all-day restaurant and cafe, anticipates opening in Spring 2025.

 

The all-new development will include a thoughtfully designed restaurant building of more than 6,000 square feet and a spacious covered patio for outdoor dining.

 

Levine Investments has owned the historic Uptown Plaza since 2019. From the initial restoration of the Plaza’s iconic 1950s deco, to the installation of lawn and event space to host community gatherings, Uptown Plaza has grown into a hub for Phoenix’s north central community.

 

“We are thrilled to bring The Henry into the Uptown Plaza family, and to have this community restaurant serve as the final redevelopment piece to our highly curated neighborhood shopping center,” said Andrew Cohn, principal partner at Levine Investments. “This is a generational asset that will be cherished for years to come.”

 

Uptown Plaza connects residents of Windsor Square, Medlock Place, Pierson Place, and St. Francis neighborhoods to a community-oriented shopping and gathering oasis. Construction on The Henry will include the planting of new trees along Central and Camelback that will offer verdant shade and increased walkability to Uptown Plaza from the nearby light rail station and surrounding neighborhoods.

 

The Henry will blend mid-century modern scale with contemporary prairie-style concepts that complement the existing architecture of Uptown Plaza and the surrounding neighborhood. The restaurant will feature an open kitchen, spacious private dining room, walk-up coffee bar, and indoor and outdoor cocktail bar with craft cocktails and spirits, and the covered restaurant patio will allow guests to have an indoor/outdoor experience year-round.

 

Uptown Plaza is located at 100 E. Camelback Road in Phoenix and houses a selection of more than 20 health, retail, and restaurant tenants including AJ’s Fine Foods, Shake Shack, Manor, Chula Seafood, and other local favorites.
