City of Hope, one of the nation’s top cancer research and treatment organizations, has officially opened its newest facility in North Scottsdale, expanding its reach across Arizona and providing greater access to leading-edge care.
Located on the ground floor of the sleek One Scottsdale Medical building, the new 30,000-square-foot facility offers a full range of services, including:
Medical oncology exams
Infusion treatments
Radiation oncology
Lab and imaging services like mammography and ultrasound
This new opening brings over 50 new jobs to the Scottsdale area and plays a key role in enhancing access to high-quality cancer treatment across the Valley.
From the moment you walk in, it’s clear that this space was thoughtfully designed to prioritize the patient experience. The 16-foot floor-to-ceiling windows, grand lobby entrance, and covered drop-off and pick-up areas all work together to create a calming, modern, and accessible environment.
Its location—just north of the Loop 101 and directly across from HonorHealth Scottsdale Thompson Peak Medical Center—makes it easily accessible, with nearby amenities like restaurants, shopping centers, hotels, and residential neighborhoods.
“Bringing City of Hope to Scottsdale and its residents is another example of how we are making hope a reality for all touched by cancer,” said Dr. Kevin Tulipana, president of City of Hope Cancer Center Phoenix. “We want everyone to have access to the nation-leading, personalized care that our physicians and staff provide.”
The Scottsdale center joins a growing list of City of Hope locations in Arizona, including:
City of Hope Phoenix (a full-service cancer hospital in Goodyear)
Outpatient clinics in North Phoenix and Gilbert
Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen), a Phoenix-based research institute affiliated with City of Hope
The new facility is part of One Scottsdale, a 120-acre mixed-use development that will eventually include 2.86 million square feet of commercial space, 2,000 residential units, and 400 hotel rooms.
The medical building itself was developed and constructed by Ryan Companies and designed by Ryan A+E, Inc., their in-house design studio.
“City of Hope’s arrival in North Scottsdale will significantly elevate access to world-class cancer care in this market at a time when it’s needed more than ever,” said Jaime Northam, SVP of healthcare development at Ryan Companies.
